To be honest phones don't need an antivirus especially on apple devices.
Apple and google are very proactive on finding and removing apps that are malicious.
The only time you should need am antivirus is if on android you are rooted and are using apps outwith the google play store. In this case then yes consider getting rid of it but bear in mind using rooted apps can trigger antivirus as a legitimate app may use methods that trigger it.
What was it that was found suspicious? what phone do you have? is it rooted? do you have any apps sideloaded?
