WW2 would not have ended in 1945 but several years later, highly likely with a draw. The Brits and Exile-French would have continued to be unable to land on the Continent, and the Germans would have had far less destroyed armament factories. Hence, the Germans would have continued to improve their weapons technology and might have destroyed vast Soviet armies, e.g. through the nuclear bomb that was developed by German scientists. Hitler would have died anyway in 1945 or 1946 because the war and the medication had already taken the toll on his body. I am sure his successor (especially if Goering and/or the Wehrmacht had succeeded Hitler) would have come to realize that a total defeat and even colonization of the USSR would have been impossible. Nazi Germany would have got at best the Baltic states and small parts of West Ukraine.

The war in Europe would have gone on longer but Russia with British help would have beaten Germany. How long would have depended on what resources USA supplied to the Nazis .
Russia would then have taken over far more of Europe than the did and the Soviet Union would have included German and France.
In Asia , Japan would have been unhindered to do what they wanted and would have taken China and Australia.
WW3 between Japan and Russia would have taken place in the 60s , with USA becoming the even richer by supplying both side with oil and munitions.

It never was if we would fight Germany it was only when Japan made the decision for us .

The United States was instrumental in defeating Germany and crushed Japan basically single-handedly. The Americans entered the war on their own terms on their own time and came out of it in a better position than any other party. If people don't like that, so what? Had the Americans never entered the fighting, the British would have been in very, very bad shape. The Soviets would have been in worse shape. And Australia, Canada, and New Zealand would have been begging to be annexed by the USA, as if they haven't been already. WWII was the best thing that ever happened to the United States. Why wouldn't the Americans have stepped in and taken the opportunity to usher in their destiny to rule the world?

Considering that Roosevelt was a major player in starting it, the answer is that there never would have been a war.
@Jimmy C - Russia (Soviet Union) did not "take" half of Germany - it was handed over to them by the western allies as a reward for their participation.
It was actually a compromise (one of many that would ultimately be given over the years). Stalin wanted ALL of Europe - which eventually came about along with the Soviet acquisition of the West through Communism that walked in the moment Roosevelt opened the door.

it would have ended in 1943 if SKF of Philadelphia had not sold Ball bearings to the Nazis
Or if ALCOA had not sold aluminium to the Nazis up to 1945
If Prescott Bush had Not sold the Nazis High Octane fuel there would not have been a Blitzkrieg or a battle of Britain
If Corporate USA and wall st had Not Funded the Nazis from 1924 there would be No WW2 in Europe
