Levi's 501 Jeans. you pay for the name. and anything with a brand name.

printer ink cartridges. They cost an estimated $0.25 to make and sell for anything up to $50.00 sometimes more. Companies like Canon are more than happy to sell their printers at break even or sometimes even at a loss.... just so you buy the ink off them.

Whether they bve high end fashion houses such as chanel, or massmarket wannabes/copies such as Primark, JCPenny, Walmart et al.

Most electronics no matter who manufactures them.
Example. Smart watches retailing for $300.00 and parts probably cost $20.00
