Can taking your blood pressure daily cause permanent damage to your joints or muscles?
Assuming you had squeezed on your muscles too hard, I'm pretty sure it can

Not at all. It does not squeeze very hard anyway. It is totally harmless, and it is good to know your blood pressure.

Of course not. A second of cuff pressure would do absolutely nothing to joints which are bone and isn’t enough to damage muscle either

No. If you tense up while taking a reading, the result will likely be higher than it normally would be. The bp cuff shouldn't be tight..just snug.
