341 L of a gas at 10oC are under 309 kPa of pressure. If the pressure is changed to 611 kPa and the temperature is decreased to -1oC, what volume will the gas occupy? (4 marks)

Use the combined gas law:
P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2
Remembering that your temperatures must be in Kelvin. So,
309 kPa (341 L)/ 283 K = 611 kPa (V2) / 272 K
V2 = 166 L
