Are dogs and animals smarter than us?

Question

They're so kind and gentle, and care for their own. Animals never kill their own kind, or hurt each other for no reason. I can't say the same for Humans. We start wars, kill and maim each other, and then laugh about it on Facebook and Reddit. Animals would never do any of that stuff, they're kind and graceful.

It is said that the Cetaceans (whale, dolphin, and porpoise) were the most intelligent creatures on Earth for millions of years before we H. sapiens came along.

 

Looking at the state of the world today, I'm inclined to believe that they still are the most intelligent creatures.

Take a course in ethology when you are old enough. Non-human animals do fight to defend their territory and family. Males will even kill their mate's offspring by another male.
