It's really hard to tell.

One report talks about how little Americans have in the bank, the next one says we've been paying off debts and saving more.

They can't both be right.

I'm sure there are people who are truly hurting.

There are a million and one reasons why a person is poor, but the #1 reason is because they don't have an education to qualify for any jobs other than minimum wage unskilled labor jobs.

That responsibility squarely on that persons lack of planning.
