Many of my friends and acquaintances are investing in the stock market. Is this a new trend or a coincidence?

    There is a big difference between Investing and Speculating. Robinhood is speculating, since the Vast majority of people haven't a clue what they are doing.

    I've been doing it for over 35 years.  Robinhooders are gambling. Well, 85% are. The smart ones are putting money in every paycheck instead of spending it and buying index funds for the long haul.
