    The "coffee is not a drug but caffeine is" argument is a farse and doesn't hold any truth whatsoever. It's the typical argument made by coffee addicts when they feel guilty for how much coffee they consume, or they are addicted

    It's basically saying "cocaine is not a drug, only specific chemicals in it are" or "alcohol is not a drug, only certain chemicals in it." This argument is both false and stupid.

    Substances themselves ARE drugs, even though people choose to deny it. YES, coffee IS A DRUG and should be drunk in moderation. Like any other drug, it can be abused and cause terrible side effects and lead to addiction.
