They may have used apple technology, while making vaccines. But the apple company itself didn't do a thing to find or produce a vaccine for covid.

They've done what they can within their own area of expertise, producing a covid19 tracer app and the like. They're not medical experts, and they dont employ medical experts, so the actual job of finding a vacicne is better left to more qualified organisations.
