A tennis player receives a shot with the 57 g ball traveling horizontally at -50, and returns the shot with the ball traveling horizontally. The tennis ball and the tennis racket are in contact for 0.0001. The average force exerted on the ball by the tennis racket is 57347 N. Find the speed of the tennis ball after it leaves the racket. (note: round to the nearest hundredth.)

    F*ΔT = m*ΔV

    ΔV = F/m*ΔT = 5.7347*10^4*10^-4*10^3/57 = 100 m/sec  = Vout-Vin 

    Vout = 100+Vin = 100-50 = 50 m/sec 

    Comment : Both force and time are absolutely  unrealistic ; 573 N and 10 msec should suit, leading at the same final result
