    (23 g NO2) / (46.0055 g NO2/mol) x (6.022 x 10²³ molecules/mol) =

    3.01 × 10²³ molecules NO2

    So answer D).

    Molar mass of NO2 is 14 + 16 + 16 = 46 grams.  So the 23 grams is half a mole.  The number of molecules is 3.01 x 10^23.
